After going on a makeup binge over the last year, I have realized that I have many lip colours which are similar in shade and texture. After doing my makeup the other day, I found a lip product that had striking similarities to the ABH liquid lipstick in Craft, so I decided to take this opportunity to write the first of my “dupe” series!
The product which inspired me was the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Prague. It isn’t an exact dupe of ABH’s Craft, however I feel like for the price, it comes pretty close. Here is the swatch of both on my hand:

NYX SMLC is lighter and has more of a pink hue whereas ABH Craft is a more dark, bordeaux wine version:

ABH Craft
In terms of the formula, although both have a matte finish, the ABH lipstick is much more long lasting than the NYX SMLC. However, the NYX SMLC is about $6 CAD, whereas the ABH lipstick is about $20 USD + $17.99 USD shipping, which totals up to about $50 CAD after currency conversions. I’m not sure about anybody else, but I think that’s a pretty hefty price for a lipstick. With that being said, ABH’s Craft is a lovely colour, however if you’re looking for a similar shade at a much lower price point, NYX SMLC Prague might just do the trick.
UPDATE: I recently picked up Stila’s All Day Liquid Lipstick in Aria, and I have to say, it is almost an identical dupe of ABH’s Craft.
I’ll post a picture within the next few daysCheck out the swatches below, however the only thing is it costs $31 CAD. It is more expensive than the ABH lipstick, however Craft has been sold out for months now. I think the Stila lipstick is still significantly cheaper than whatever Craft is currently selling for on eBay and Amazon.

ABH Craft and Stila All Day Liquid Lipstick in Aria are almost an identical dupe. Contrary to what the picture shows, I find ABH Craft to be a tiny bit darker than Aria, however they are excellent dupes. I would say that Aria is a little more comfortable to wear than Craft – I find Craft to be a tad bit drying but it is definitely more long-wearing.
