As much as it hurts to admit, summer in Ottawa has not been that great. The weather is very temperamental and it seems like we’re always having more of an extended spring. However, on the days when it’s actually nice outside, it gets really hot and humid. Needless to say, I’ve had an interesting time trying to figure out what to use on my skin to keep it looking nice and calm, even if the environment isn’t really cooperating. I’ve been keeping a few moisturizers in rotation to help achieve this, so if you’d like to learn more about what I’m currently using to keep my combination skin in check this summer, please keep reading.

I was sent the Birchrose + co Cleansing Oil and I’ve been using it frequently over the last couple weeks. If you’d like to learn my thoughts on this product, please keep reading.

Now that we’re halfway into summer, I think now is a better time than ever to discuss some of the items in my current summer skincare routine. Summer is the perfect season to let your skin take the spotlight, so taking care of it should be the #1 priority. If you would like to read about the products I use and learn my thoughts about them, keep reading!
