Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably seen the video by Mariya.AE where she does a full-faced look using only highlighters. While it’s definitely a too much for every day wear, I thought it looked pretty cool, and decided to take a crack at the “Full Face Using Only Highlighters Challenge” myself. I have to admit, I did cheat a little since I didn’t have some appropriate highlighters to do the job, but I made sure that whatever I used as a replacement was just as shimmery. Surprisingly, it turned out a lot more wearable than I expected, but it still was a little extra for my liking. I decided that since this video was going to be outlandish anyway, I thought I’d throw on some circle lenses I bought a while ago just for shits and giggles! I hope you guys enjoy the video, and as always, the product list is available below.
I don’t know what it is about peaches that make me love them so much. It could be that they are one of my favourite fruits; perhaps it could be the beautiful vibrant shade itself. Whatever it is, every time I see, smell, or taste something peach-related, I just fall in love. Earlier this year, I learned that Too Faced was coming out with a peach-themed palette. I was immediately intrigued, being a huge fan of the ever-so popular chocolate bar palettes. As more and more details were released on the palette, my anticipation and need for it only grew stronger. I knew it wouldn’t be an easy feat to get my hands on it, with it being a limited-edition product (initially), but after months of waiting and with the help of my lovely boyfriend (who is now certainly convinced that I am a makeup fiend), it’s all mine! So what are my thoughts on the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette? Keep reading to find out.
With the lovely weather we’ve been having here in this part of the Great White North, I was inspired to create a softer ‘every day spring makeup’ look for you guys! I tested out a few new products, including the Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation and the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette – so expect some reviews for both those products in the near future. I followed the style guide provided with the Sweet Peach palette for the eyes, and honestly, it wasn’t really a look I was too keen on. However, I went with it and it turned out alright in the end. Let me know what you guys think and please feel free to send me any requests for specific looks or products you’d like for me to try out! As always, keep reading to see a full product list, and enjoy!
